Using Google Apps to Make Interactive Stories


I was inspired today by a blogpost I found online written by Jonathan Wylie about “Creating Interactive Choose Your Own (Google) Adventure Stories". I tried to create one on my own with a Google form but had major difficulties. So I wrote up some step-by-step instructions. 

First of all, take a look at my stories: One in English and below it, the same one in French:

    Còn Thần Long đảo cũng không phải là toàn bộ lực lượng của Đoạn Vân. Cao
    thủ thần cấp thủ hạ của Đoạn Vân đã có tới tám sư đoàn. Hơn nữa trong
    tay Đoạn Vân còn có một đội ngũ ma thú tuyệt đối cường đại. Mặc dù ma
    thú đại quân vừa mới được thành lập nên vẫn chưa hình thành lực chiến
    đấu như quân đội, nhưng Đoạn Vân còn có một vạn Nanh Sói long kỵ. Một
    vạn Cự long phi long với thực lực đã đủ để hóa hình, tuyệt đối là một
    đội không quân tốt nhất. Một vạn Cuồng Long sư đoàn với địa hành long
    cấp chín đã hóa hình, tuyệt đối có thể quét sạch mọi thứ bộ binh, kỵ
    binh. Còn có gần ba vạn ma thú gia tộc, đều là những thánh thú đã hóa
    hình. Vũ lực cường đại như thế thì còn gì phải e ngại hải tộc xâm lấn?
    Đúng là chuyện đùa. Chỉ cần Đoạn Vân dùng đám quân này làm tiên phong,
    toàn bộ đại quân của nhân tộc xem ra cũng chỉ cần đi sau để thu hoạch
    hải sản tôm cá.

    Nghe Đoạn Vân nói thế, võ sĩ cá mập giật nảy người. Hắn hoàn toàn không
    ngờ Đoạn Vân lại có một sự đáp trả như vậy. Làm sứ giả đàm phán, hắn
    nguyên vốn tưởng rằng chỉ cần biểu lộ xu thế hải tộc muốn xâm lấn đại
